Done

Well I finished a semester of college, so now it is time to take a break sorta. I don’t really get breaks anymore cause I’ll just keep working…I’ll just be somewhere else rather than at a studio to do work haha. Oh well, it’ll be a nice scenery change to get out for awhile but I’ll miss it. L.A. just has a nice vibe to it and it is great to be creative in this environment and just all the opportunities and chances you get are amazing. It truly is unbelievable.

Well off to pack and clean before my plan tomorrow. So I bid you all a farewell and happy holidays!

Finals are done…mostly

Can’t wait for the semester to be over for a bit and then go reset. I definitely think L.A. is my new home but being stuck on campus does get irritating after seeing the same thing every day. But it is a great school and I am happy.

My finals have been interesting though, I have had to compose basically a short piano piece that will be played next week for my final grade and I’ve been taking a bunch of different kinds….even though it is a lot of work, I really enjoy it. Just means when I start taking some more classes, it will just be even more work…oh well…sacrifice to the art I suppose haha

So I haven’t been here in ages! I’ve been hammered with all of my rehearsals/performances/school etc. I’ve been really busy getting into a whole bunch of experimental things and I’ve also been helping my friend manage his electronica and he has really been working to get himself pushed forward. I am really excited to see his stuff really take off and create something great!

So I promise I’ll be a better tumblr-er and start keeping updates and shit…I’ll probably focus more and more on the music scene as well. I am going to be starting my friend’s blog for him so we can start getting out there even more. I am basically his PR/manager type person so just more on my plate hahah.

Anyways, take it easy and you’ll hear from me again soon!

Woohoo

Well, I am currently feeling the the torture of procrastination. But then again, would it really be considered procrastination if you were putting off work because you were doing other work? Now there is a paradox. If you are to put off work deliberately to the last minute because you have other work, are you still technically procrastinating or are you simply just prioritizing? What do you think?

Anyhoo, my past couple of days have been busy. I have been doing rehearsals and performances and work work work. Except I didn’t get paid haha. That doesn’t happen yet…people don’t give musicians enough credit but we won’t go there. My friend is doing pretty well in the electronica world. He is getting his feet wet and really busting out some originals. Now he just needs to start going after equipment to boost everything up. I’ll post up his stuff after he makes another song or two.
